Men's and Women's Soccer Move Up in Regional Rankings

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team is ranked fourth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Great Lakes Region poll. They are also receiving votes for the Top 25 rankings on D3soccer.com. The women moved up this week in the regional rankings as well, currently ninth.

After a 2-0 week, the men (14-1-3, 7-0-1 AMCC) moved up three spots, making it the highest ranking in program history. They host Medaille tonight for the regular-season championship and home-field advantage in the AMCC semifinals.

The women (13-4, 8-0 AMCC) also had a 2-0 week, which helped them climb one spot in the rankings. With their 8-1 win over La Roche on Saturday, the Lions secured the AMCC regular-season championship and home-field advantage in the semifinals.
