ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend sophomore infielder Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) and junior softball pitcher Kayla Lindberg (Austinburg, OH/Geneva) were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.

Ciocco, the AMCC Player of the Week, averaged .462 for the week and registered 12 hits with seven RBIs for the Lions. He only struck out once, while smacking a double in the win against Kenyon. Ciocco is on a six-game hit streak, posting multiple hits in four of the last seven games.

Lindberg, the AMCC Pitcher of the Week, made four appearances and pitched 16.1 innings while picking up a win and a save on the week for the softball team. She allowed six earned runs and struck out four to post a 2.57 ERA
