After a terrific career at Cathedral Prep High School, DiMarco had two outstanding seasons as a wrestler at Penn State Behrend.  His two-year mark in dual meets was 21-2.  DiMarco was named an Academic All-American in 1972.  The following year, under Hall of Fame member Coach Ed Onorato, he finished sixth in the NJCAA Championships.

DiMarco continued his outstanding career at the University of Arizona, where he won 14 matches, including a first place medal at the prestigious Arizona State Sun Devil Open and at the University of New Mexico's Lobo Invitational.

Since graduating in 1975, DiMarco has spent ten years coaching wrestling at Harborcreek and Mercyhurst Prep high schools.  He is also self-employed as a general contractor.
