Mindy Stasenko was the first women's basketball player at Penn State Behrend to score 1,000 points.  Missy, her sister, and fellow inductee, was the second.  Mindy finished her career with 1,035 career points, still fourth highest in women's basketball at Penn State Behrend.She averaged 14.0 points per game for her career, second best all-time. 

Stasenko was named to the District 18 All-Star team four times.  In her memorable season of 1982-83, she averaged 16.8 PPG and 10.6 RPG.  She concluded the year with a shooting percentage of .587, which ranked her eighth in the NAIA national charts.

Stasenko also earned dean's list honors six times as a student-athlete.  In 1984-85, Stasenko received the John Zahniser Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award.  She also played softball in 1985 and her natural athletic ability helped her achieve District 18 All-Star honors on the diamond.  Stasenko now lives in Pittsburgh where she is an assistant supervisor of funds in the accounting operations at Mellon Bank.
