Paul Heasley, a 1980 graduate of Penn State Behrend, led head coach Herb Lauffer's soccer teams to two consecutive postseason appearances.  Heasley poured in 26 goals during his two-season stay in the blue, white, and red uniform, to become the all-time leading point scorer in Penn State Behrend soccer history.

Heasley totaled 59 career points, which ties him with Hall of Famer Jim Channas for the number one position.  In both 1978 and 1979, Heasley earned all-star awards for his outstanding play.  In 1979, his 12 goals contributed heavily to the team's success as Penn State Behrend captured the NAIA District 18 Soccer Championship.

Heasley earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Penn State.  He has been teaching for over 25 years, and is currently a teacher at Danville Area High School.
