Jim Camp has served Penn State Behrend, the Erie community, and the Erie Times for thirty-seven years. The Oil City High School graduate has been recognized with several awards for his outstanding work including the PA State Athletic Conference Media Award and the Northwest Jaycees Media Person of the Year Award.
As a sports writer and editor, Jim has helped Behrend Athletics grow tremendously with his coverage and insights of student-athletes. He is a strong advocate of high school and collegiate athletics and a great team player-a team member whose work has often gone unnoticed or has been behind the scenes. Jim's service and dedication deserve recognition for his outstanding work. Jim is also very involved in the Alzheimer's Associations Memory Walk, and is annually the leading fundraiser.
