Kuhn was instrumental in the volleyball program's most successful three-year period in the history of the program. In 1981 and 1982, she earned Women's Keystone Athletic Conference Honors and was an NAIA District 18 all-star in 1982.

She is third all-time for service aces in a career with 170, and is 12th in kills in a career with 514.
