2008 Softball

The 2008 Penn State Behrend softball team won the program’s third AMCC championship and earned the program’s second-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament.  
 
The Lions compiled an outstanding 33-14 overall record and finished 13-5 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) play.  Penn State Behrend defeated Frostburg State twice in the AMCC playoffs and advanced to play Ramapo and Rochester in the NCAA Tournament. 
 
Juniors Julie Koman and Katie Whitby led the postseason accolades for PSB by landing on the AMCC All-Conference First Team.  Fellow junior Nikki Kaschauer was selected to AMCC All-Conference Second Team while Kelsey Mulhollem and Allison Babish landed on the AMCC All-Conference Third Team.
