Bio

Erin Brenner is in her first year as Assistant Athletic Trainer for Penn State Behrend Athletics.

Brenner joins the Behrend staff after most recently graduating from Ohio University this past May with a Master of Science in Athletic Training.

Her work experience included being a Student Union Worker at the University of South Carolina Football Athletic Training Facility and an Operations Manager for the Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center.

Brenner's skills and certifications include the Gratson Technique, American Heart Association BLS, blood borne pathogen and HIPPA by Vector Solutions. She volunteered at the 2024 MAC Swimming and Diving Championship, the 2023 Marine Corp Marathon, the 2020 GLAM Project, the 2019 Breakfast for Babies (March of Dimes), the 2017 Dragon Boat Festival, and the 2016 Cat Crusaders.

She was a member of Phi Mu Sorority, Gamma Sigma Alpha, the Ohio University Athletic Training Student Organization, and the National Academic Greek Honor Society, while earning awards such as Cum Laude, Dean's List, and USA South Conference All-Academic Team.

Prior to her time at Ohio University, Brenner received her Bachelor of Science in 2021 from Huntingdon College where she was a four-year member of the women's soccer team.
