In two games last week at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Basketball Championships, sophomore guard Morgan Altavilla averaged 22.0 points per game and helped lead the Lions to their third conference title and first in 20 years (2003-04). In the semifinals against Altoona, Altavilla chipped in 15 points in a 76-69 Behrend victory. On Saturday vs. La Roche, she scored 20 points in the first 25 minutes of the contest, finishing with a game-high 29 points to go along with six rebounds in the championship game to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
