Julia Balaski - Track & Field

Junior Julia Balaski surpassed her own Penn State Behrend women's track & field record in the javelin throw at the Carnegie Mellon Invite this past Saturday. She threw 142-2 on her fifth attempt for second place, shattering her previous program record mark of 130-9 that was set at Allegheny last season. This throw places Balaski first in the Division III rankings and qualifies her for regionals in the javelin throw.
