Lions Finish Fifth at AMCC Round Robin

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team finished in fifth place at the AMCC Round Robin this weekend.

Key Moments
* The Lions competed in five baker matches determined by total pinfall on Saturday and four on Sunday
* On Saturday, Behrend went 2-3 on the day
* The Lions took down La Roche 743-715 to start out the tournament
* Behrend then had two losses to Saint Vincent (834-712) and Mt. Aloysius (786-690) 
* The Lions came back to beat Penn State Altoona by more than 200 pins, winning 793-563
* To end the day, Behrend fell to La Roche 768-708
* On day two of the tournament, the Lions went 2-2
* Behrend won game one against Pitt-Bradford 757-688 before falling to D'Youville
* The Lions edged New Jersey City in game two 722-718
* Medaille then won the last game on the event 918-779
