ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team opened the 2021 season at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Round Robin on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* The bowling team started off the season with a 1-2 finish at the first AMCC round robin
* The Lions took on Saint Vincent, Hilbert, and Medaille in total pinfall baker matches at Eastland Bowl in Erie, PA
* Behrend started with a 808-688 lost to the Bearcats
* The Lions fell short in the first three games of the match, but had a big 199-175 win in the fourth game
* Behrend took on the Hawks next, winning 716-665
* The Lions won four out of five games with a match-high of 178
* The Medaille Mavericks took a large lead in the first game of the final match, eventually winning 868-699
