Batsa Named AMCC Bowler of the Week

Penn State Behrend women’s bowling senior Sidney Batsa (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Bowler of the Week for the period running from December 2-8.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's bowling senior Sidney Batsa (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Bowler of the Week for the period running from December 2-8.

Batsa led the Lions in both traditional games against Pitt-Bradford this past Saturday with an average of 179.

She rolled a team-high game one score of 187 and then followed that with a team leading 171 in game two.

Batsa was also a part of the baker lineup that took down the Panthers by a score of 826-776.

The women's bowling team returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 16 when they travel to Lansing, MI to take part in the four-day DIII Championships at Royal Scot Golf and Bowl.
