Lions Bowl At Home for Final Time This Season on Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team competes at Eastland Bowl for the final time this season, taking on Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, Jan. 25. Dual match begins at 11 a.m.

* The Lions began the new year at the DIII National Invite this past weekend, competing in four traditional and baker matches
* Junior Lillie Holt (Pulaski, PA/West Middlesex) led the team with high scores in three of their four traditional games
* Dee Dee Elijah (Tallmadge, OH/Tallmadge) rolled a game-high 226 vs. Augustana on Saturday
* Holt placed fifth in the individual standings out of 30 bowlers with a total pinfall of 954 and average game score of 190.80 to earn All-Tournament Team honors
* For her efforts this past weekend, Holt was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Bowler of the Week
* Holt has recorded a team-high average of 177.78 in 23 traditional games played so far this season
* Sidney Batsa (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) leads in the team in total pinfall (4,241) and games (26)
* As a team, Behrend has registered a total pinfall of 23,382 and average game score of 161.26 over 145 games this season
Meet the Opposition:
* Pitt-Bradford comes into Saturday's dual match with an overall record of 20-29
* Two weekends ago, the Panthers took part in the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic and Western PA Shootout, finishing third at both events
* Senior Brooklyn Garvey delivered a team-high average score of 187 for eighth place in the individual standings at the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate
* In 28 baker games at the Western PA shootout, Pitt-Bradford knocked down 4,604 pins with a team average score of 164.42
