Holt Named AMCC Newcomer of the Year
Penn State Behrend women’s bowling junior Lillie Holt (Pulaski, PA/West Middlesex) was selected the 2024-25 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Newcomer of the Year and to the All-Conference First Team.
ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's bowling junior Lillie Holt (Pulaski, PA/West Middlesex) was selected the 2024-25 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Newcomer of the Year and to the All-Conference First Team.
Holt finished sixth in the conference rankings with an overall average of 180.6. She was also top 10 in frames-filled percentage (80), spare-conversion percentage (66.7), and player-composite performance index (78.807) during AMCC play.
In 46 traditional games this season, Holt led Behrend in total pinfall (8,338) and average (181.26). During the AMCC Championships, she tallied second on the team with a total pinfall of 493 and averaged 164.33 in the first round vs. No. 5 Hilbert.
Holt made two All-Tournament teams and was named conference Bowler of the Week on three occasions during the regular season.
The junior first-year bowler at Behrend is the second major award winner in program history since Brianna Lundy earned Player of the Year in 2019-20.
