FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Gettysburg baseball team scored 12 runs on 16 hits to defeat Penn State Behrend on day two of spring break in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Noteworthy:
* The Bullets brought out their bats to collect their sixth win of the season
* Gettysburg grabbed a 9-0 lead after four innings
* Behrend scored all three runs in the seventh inning
* The Lions loaded the bases in the seventh with a hit by pitch and a pair of walks
* The third consecutive walk scored Thomas Nicely and the fourth straight walk sent home Juston Jones
* Silvio Ionadi hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Anthony Slate for the final run of three in the game
* Slate and Jones each had a hit and a run for the Lions
* Pitcher Derrick Shields started on the hill for the loss
* Gettysburg went through four pitchers with the win going to starter Nate Masteralexis
