MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny baseball team tallied a 7-3 non-conference win against Penn State Behrend on Thursday afternoon.

Records: Penn State Behrend (5-8), Allegheny (7-10)

Game One:

* The Gators registered seven runs on eight hits for their seventh win of the season
* Pitcher of record Mark Schweickert struck out nine batters in 6.2 innings of work
* Behrend registered runs in the fourth and eighth innings
* Three different Lions had a pair of hits including Zac Bogats (Corapolis, PA/Moon) and Silvio Ionadi (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) who each had a double
* With a 3-1 lead, Allegheny had a four-run seventh frame to take a six-run advantage
