ERIE, Pa. – The No. 2 Penn State Behrend baseball team will face No. 6 Penn State Altoona in the double-elimination championship series of the 2023 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament hosted by No. 1 Alfred State on Thursday.

* Altoona fell in game one 10-6 and then registered an 11-10 victory and a 10-4 decision to advance to the championship round and eliminate the 2022 AMCC Champions

* Pitcher Sam Homan ranks tied for third in the conference with six wins this season
