BEREA, Ohio - The Penn State Behrend baseball team saw its season come to a close on the second day of the NCAA Division III Regionals, falling to Adrian and Catholic Saturday afternoon.

Game One: Adrian 12, Penn State Behrend 1
Records: Adrian (31-14), Penn State Behrend (29-12-1)

Key Moments:
* ​The Bulldogs plated the first two runs of the game in the second and third innings
* ​Adrian took a commanding lead (9-1) with a seven run fourth, highlighted a pair of RBI doubles and singles
* ​The Lions notched their first run of the game on an RBI single from Silvio Ionadi (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) in the sixth inning

Game Two: Catholic 14, Penn State Behrend 2

* ​The Cardinals jumped out to a four-run advantage in the first, highlighted by a Jesse Lacefield three-run homer
* ​Catholic extended its lead with seven runs combined in the fourth and fifth innings
* ​A Spencer Deitz (Erie, PA/McDowell) stolen base in the bottom of the fourth led to Ionadi scoring the Lions first run of the contest
* ​Zach Burton tacked on a run for the Cardinals with an RBI double in the top of the seventh
