FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team carried its momentum from last night's thrilling victory into Tuesday's contest with a 5-3 win over Earlham.

Key Moments:
* Three straight hits to start the game, plated two runs in the first inning for Earlham
* Silvio Ionadi (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) responded with an RBI double in the top of the second to cut the Lions deficit to one
* Starting pitchers Alec Greenblatt (Oliveburg, PA/Punxsutawney) and Cayman Huntsman were able to stall both offenses after the early scores, neither allowing another run for the next four innings
* A two-run single off the bat of Hank Shaffer (Saegertown, PA/Saegertown) gave Behrend its first lead of the day in the seventh inning (3-2)
* The Quakers tied the score at three in the eighth with an RBI single from Jonathan Jimenez
* Behrend grabbed the lead back in the ninth with two runs on an error by Earlham and a sacrifice bunt RBI from Shaffer

* Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) tallied three hits and Shaffer drove in a game-high three runs for Behrend
* The Quakers were led by Noah Wagster's three hits and Huntsman's 6.1 innings pitched with two strikeouts on the hill
