Penn State Behrend capped the 2010 season with its 22nd win by defeating Alvernia College, 79-73, for the ECAC Division III South Region Men's Basketball Championship.

The Behrend Lions jumped to a 42-29 halftime lead and never looked back.  The blue and white were led by senior Adam Kaiser(Erie/Cathedral Prep) with 24 points, Chris Saltzman (Pittsburgh/Central Catholic) 17 points and five rebounds and freshman Russ Conley (Transfer/Reynolds) who chipped in with 16 points and five boards.  With a layup made in the second half of the championship game, Kaiser surpassed the 1,000 point mark in his Behrend career.  He amassed a total of 1,005 points which places him thirteenth on the all time scoring list in Penn State Behrend history.

The Behrend Lions finished the season with an overall record of 22-8.
