ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team has won four in a row with an 81-71 decision over Franciscan in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday.

* The Lions had four out of the five starters with double-figure points
* PJ Gourley (Butler, PA/Knoch) led with a career-high 19 points
* Behrend registered a season-best 21 free throws on 24 attempts for 87.5 percent shooting
* Gourley went 8-for-8 from the charity stripe and added three rebounds
* The Lions trailed at halftime for just the second time this season
* Behrend had a one-point deficit heading into the second half
* The Lions used a 10-0 run over a span of two minutes with 13 minutes left to play to take the lead for good
* Dorian Connors (Girard, PA/Girard) and  Kenny Fukon (Cranberry Township, PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) each added 13 points
* Devin Pope (Ripley, NY/Chautauqua Lake) grabbed a team-best seven rebounds to go with 12 points
* Travis Lien came off the bench for the Barons to score a team-high 19 points
