ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona Lions picked up an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) win against Penn State Behrend 74-63 on Saturday afternoon.

Records: Penn State Behrend (10-5, 7-3 AMCC), Penn State Altoona (9-4, 5-4 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* It marked the third game this season the Lions trailed at halftime (29-25) and just the second game Behrend shot under 40 percent
* Altoona led for the majority of the game until Behrend tied it at 57-all with 5:37 left to play
* The Altoona Lions were able to hold off a comeback attempt down the stretch and take their largest lead at the end
* Altoona held the advantage on the boards (42-27) and for points in the paint (36-20)
* The Altoona Lions earned just their sixth program win over the Lions in 53 meetings
* The Behrend Lions had a season-high 11 blocks, led by a career-high six blocks by Dorian Connors (Girard, PA/Girard)
* Kenny Fukon (Cranberry Township, PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) led Behrend in scoring for the eighth game this season, knocking down 14 points
* Mitchell King (Pittsburgh, PA/Bishop Canevin) was also in double figures with 12 points
* Altoona had four starters with double-figure points led by Jack Kusters with 17
