Three Teams Recognized as AMCC Team Peak Performers
On Wednesday, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the 2021-22 Team Peak Performers in celebration of DIII Week. The award is given to each team within the conference holding the highest grade-point average (GPA) in their respective sport.
ERIE, Pa. – On Wednesday, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the 2021-22 Team Peak Performers in celebration of DIII Week. The award is given to each team within the conference holding the highest grade-point average (GPA) in their respective sport.
Men's basketball, men's tennis and women's swimming and diving have all been named AMCC Team Peak Performers. Between the three teams, they combined for a GPA of 3.47.
Men's hoops and women's swimming and diving both claimed the top academic spot last year as well, making it back-to-back years as peak performers. This year, men's basketball carried a cumulative GPA of 3.37 while women's swimming and diving had a 3.55. Men's tennis joins the aforementioned, earning the team accolade with a GPA of 3.48.
