NCAA Men’s Golf Tournament Results
The Penn State Behrend men’s golf team competed in the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday.
HOWEY IN THE HILL, FL - The Penn State Behrend men's golf team competed in the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Lions played on two courses in Florida, Howey-in-the-Hills: El Campeon and Howey-in-the-Hills: Las Colinas, both with par at 72.
Kevin Koerbel (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes) led the way for Behrend with a two-day total of 156. Koerbel shot 77 on day one followed by a 79 on the second day for an overall score of +12.
Dante Vetica (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy Catholic) played well with a final score of 157. Vetica shot rounds of 74 and 83. Matt Gurska (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy Catholic) was not far behind with rounds of 79 and 83 for a two-day total of 162.
The Lions did not make the cut though, with a team total of 643.
