MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team took eighth out of 13 teams with a team score of 633 in the two-day Allegheny Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Invitational held at the Meadville Country Club on Monday.

Key Moments:

Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) stayed out front for the Lions, firing a two-day score of 155 (76-79) to tie for 22nd place overall
* Behrend dropped two spots from day one with a 321 round on day two, falling to eighth place
* Gannon won the invitational (590) followed by Mercyhurst in second (594) and Westminster in third (603)
Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) improved three strokes from day one to fire a 77 and finish tied for 28th with a 157
Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) broke the tie with teammate Phil Pedano (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) on day two
* Caldwell an 82 to finish with a 160 total, tying for 37th overall
* Pedano scored an 86 on day two for a 164 total and tying for 47th place
Johnny Main (Sewickley, PA/Quaker Valley) came in 56th place with a three-stroke improvement after yesterday for a 169 score
