STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished fifth out of six teams at the Penn State Division III Challenge with a two-day score of 657 at the Penn State Blue/White Course on Sunday.

Key Moments: 

* The Lions shot a 322 on day two to better the first-day score of 335 for a 657 total
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) remained the top golfer for Behrend, carding an identical 79 on day two
* Pol ended tied for sixth place with a 158
Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) tied for 13th overall for 36 holes
* Johnson shaved four strokes off day one, matching Pol with a 79 for the day and collectively posting a 162
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) placed 20th overall with a two-day total of 166 (84-82)
* Improving by seven strokes from day one, Hunter Kozlowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) shot a 171 overall (89-82) 
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) was the fifth finisher, taking 29th place with a 175 (91-84)
* Penn State Harrisburg is in first place with a team score of 319
