NORTH EAST, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team completed their spring season at the Mercyhurst Invitational held at Lake View Country Club on Friday. The Lions placed eighth out of nine teams (328). Day two of the invitational was canceled due to weather.

Key Moments:
* St. Thomas Aquinas finished six over par to win the invitational
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) carded a team-best 78 to finish tied for 17th overall
* Second on the team and tied for 34th was Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) with a score of 81
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) tied for 47th, shooting an 85 for the day
* Michael Stoddart (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep), playing in his fourth collegiate outing, shot an 84 to tie for 43rd place
* Seth Faulkner (Edinboro, PA/Cathedral Prep) rounded out the Behrend golfers with an 89 (T53rd)
