NASHPORT, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team tallied a team score of 336 to finish the NCAA DIII Region V Preview Invitational in 11th place out of 15 teams held at The Virtues Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.

* The Lions shaved eight strokes off day one score to finish with a 336 for a 680 overall total
* For the second straight day, Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) led Behrend
* Johnson tied for 11th place with a two-day total of 158 (78-80), carding a birdie on hole 3 (353 yards – par 4)
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) improved from day one with a score of 84 for the course
* McMaster tied for 57th place with a total of 174 (90-84)
* Phil Pedano (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) fired a 90 on day two (43-47) to combine with day one (85) to get a 175 score
* Hunter Kozlowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) totaled a 184 (93-91) to tie for 81st place, while Jacob Verner (Venetia, PA/Seton LaSalle) went from a 105 to an 82 on the final day of competition for a 187 (86th place)
* Otterbein captured the tournament (627) while Wooster stayed in second (637) and Trine took third (639)
