STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished in sixth place at the Penn State Division III Challenge hosted by Penn State Altoona at the Penn State Blue/White Course on Sunday.

Key Moments: 

* The Lions tallied a score of 321 for 18 holes on day two, combined with the score of 171 on day one for a final total of 492 for sixth
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) and Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) tied for 15th overall with a final score of 120
* Johnson scored a 75 on day two, while McMaster carded a 79
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) who led after day one, took third on the team and placed tied for 22nd overall
* Caldwell tallied an 83 on day two for a 124 total
* Jake Verner (Venetia, PA/Seton LaSalle) came in tied for 30th and was fourth on the team with an 84 on day two for a 130 score overall
* Tyler Parkhurst (Union City, PA/Union City) did not compete on day two due to illness
