WOOSTER, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team placed tied for 8th out of 11 teams at the two-day Wooster Invitational held this weekend. The tournament was shortened to nine holes on Sunday due to impending weather.

Key Moments:  
 
* The Lions, competing in their last spring invitational, tallied a score of 343 for the first 18 holes on day one, and then posted a 166 on day two for a combined total of 509 to tie with Albion 
* Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) competed in his final collegiate meet on Saturday, carding an 84  
* Johnson was unable finish out the second round  
* Tyler Parkhurst (Union City, PA/Union City) led the team on Saturday, firing a team-low 78 for 18 holes and then 43 today for a team-low score of 121 for 27 holes 
* Parkhurst tied for 14th overall among 58 golfers 
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) posted a team-low 36 for nine holes today and added an 89 from day one for a 125 to tie for 32nd overall 
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) and Parkhurst each tallied a 43 for the nine holes 
* McMaster tallied a 93 for 18 holes to finish with 150 for the tournament, tying for 50th place 
Jake Verner (Venetia, PA/Seton LaSalle) tallied a two-day score of 136 (92-44) to place 53rd  
* Otterbein won the invitational with a low-score of 455
