Behrend Men's Golf Completes Day One of Guy Kuhn Memorial Tournament

MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Behrend men's golf team competed at the Guy Kuhn Memorial Tournament hosted by Allegheny on Sunday afternoon. The Lions are currently tied for eighth place in a field of 13 teams.

Key Moments:

* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) and Owen Blum (Warren, PA/Warren Area) tied for 25^th overall to lead the Lions
* Caldwell and Blum shot five over par for a 77
* JR Hufnagel (Evans City, PA/North Catholic) and Andrew Hatton (Lawrence Park, PA/Iroquois) also tied for the round of 18
* The duo both fired an 81 to tie for 39^th place heading into day two
* Jared Franc (Erie, PA/Fairview) was the fifth golfer for Behrend, tying for 55^th place with a score of 88
* Gannon leads the field with a team score of 289
