ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team fell to No. 21 Oneonta, 4-0 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Dragons offense caught fire and held the Lions scoreless for the only the third time this season.

Jeff Christian put Oneonta on the board early with a goal at the 9:25 mark.  Under eight minutes later, Eric Fortier added to the lead to put the Red Dragons up 2-0.  Just before half time, Oneonta pushed the lead to 3-0 on a penalty kick.

The Red Dragons pushed one more goal across 30 minutes into the second half to increase the lead to 4-0.  Oneonta would clear the final attempts by Behrend to secure the 4-0 victory and push their win streak to 12.

The Lions (13-7-1) were outshot 9-6 and lost the advantage in corner kicks 4-2.  It was only the third time in school history that Behrend made the NCAA Tournament.  With their win on Saturday, the Lions advanced to the second round for the second time ever.

The three seniors on the team, Aaron Meehl (North East, PA/North East), Kyle McKinney (Chesterland, OH/West Geauga) and Chris Bolea (Ambridge, PA/Ambridge) all wrapped up their outstanding careers.  Each earned first-team all-conference accolades this season.
