OBERLIN, Oh -- Eric Vunovic (North Huntingdon, PA / Norwin) scored both Penn State Behrend goals leading the Lions (2-0-1) in a 2-2 tie against Oberlin on Friday night.
The senior netted the only goal of the first half just 4:45 into the match with a free-kick strike from the top of the box.
After John Ingram tied it for the Yeomen (2-0-1) at the 59:29 mark in the second half, Vunovic went to work again. He drilled a penalty kick into the back of the net at the 69:45 mark to give the Lions a 2-1 lead.
Joe Graybeal tied it for Oberlin with a diving header at 71:39, and after two frantic overtime periods, the game ended 2-all.
The Lions will be back in action Saturday at 1 p.m. when they take on Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio.
