PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Four second half goals propelled the Penn State Behrend men's soccer team to their sixth straight win with a 4-0 victory over La Roche College Saturday afternoon. The Lions (11-3, 5-0 AMCC) remain undefeated in conference play through five contests.

Behrend and La Roche (9-4, 2-2 AMCC) headed into the second half in a scoreless contest. The Lions struck the first blow at the 60:28 mark when Sean Gallagher (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) converted a breakaway attempt and gave Behrend a 1-0 lead.

Holding a 1-0 lead for approximately 20 minutes, the Lions were able to convert a second breakaway opportunity. Christian Harrington (Warren, PA/Warren Area) fed Jimmy Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) who knocked in his team-leading 13th goal of the year. Belack has now scored in six straight contests.

Just under two minutes later, Kyle Beckett (Suffolk, VA/Kings Fork) scored to give Behrend a 3-0 lead late in the second half. Sean Gallagher assisted on the deflected shot goal.  The Lions would cap off the victory with a late goal by Anthony Crivelli (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley). Crivelli and Pat Johnson (Westerville, OH/Westerville South) converted the give and go for Behrend's fourth goal.

Jarrod Wassell (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) was stellar in the net once again and notched his fifth shutout of the season. Crivelli, Harrington, Johnson and Gallagher all added an assist each.

The Lions will host Medaille on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of last year's AMCC championship game.
