Belack Named AMCC and ECAC Player of the Week

Senior forward Jimmy Belack was named the AMCC and ECAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week after two strong performances in victories over Medaille and Pitt-Greensburg last week.

ERIE, Pa. – Jimmy Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) was named the AMCC and ECAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after two strong performances in victories over Medaille and Pitt-Greensburg last week.

In a battle of undefeated conference opponents, Belack led the way with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Medaille. Three days later, Belack scored just four minutes into the game in a 4-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg. Belack is having a successful season leading the conference with 35 points and 15 goals.

The Lions remain undefeated in conference play with just two games remaining. Behrend travels to D'Youville Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. AMCC match.
