ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team scored a dominate victory, 8-1, in the Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) opener against La Roche Saturday afternoon.

* Seven different Lions got in on the scoring action in Saturday's contest
* Eight different players notched their first point of the season
* Freshman Lucas Pittman (Plum, PA/Plum) led the way with five points, tallying an unassisted goal in the 44th minute and another score in the 62nd minute off a pass from fellow freshman Andy Jones (Girard, PA/Girard). This marks the first collegiate point for Jones
* Pittman also assisted on Tyler Vandemerwe's (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) first goal of the 2023 campaign
