ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team recorded a shutout victory, 5-0, over Pitt-Bradford Wednesday night on home turf.

* Senior Tyler Vandemerwe (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) deposited the ball in the net off a pass from Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny) in the 10th minute to begin the scoring for the Lions
* Behrend capitalized off a foul in the box from the Panthers with a penalty kick score from Justin Hockenberger (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) in the 16th minute
* Mason Le (Canonsburg, PA/Canon McMillan) gave the Lions a 3-0 advantage going into halftime with his second goal of the season
* To start the second half, Blake Cooper (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) took a shot from the side of the net and beat the keeper to the left side to put Behrend up 4-0
