ERIE, Pa. – No. 2 Penn State Behrend hosts No. 3 Alfred State in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Soccer Semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

No. 2 Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions clinched the second seed and a first-round bye in the AMCC Tournament with a 3-0 win at Hilbert last Wednesday
* Behrend ended the regular season with an overall record of 11-3-3 and a conference record of 7-1-1
* The Lions are in search of their 11th AMCC title and first since the 2019 season
* Junior Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny) led the way for Behrend on Wednesday, scoring two goals for four points, including the game winner

*Alfred State ended the season with a 15-3 overall record and 7-2 record in AMCC play to secure the third seed in the AMCC Tournament
* The Pioneers hosted sixth-seed Hilbert in the first round this past Saturday and notched a 7-1 victory
* Riley Warren-Nichols and Garrett Potts led the way on Saturday with two scores each
* Potts leads the AMCC and the team with 18 goals and 41 points, while teammate Nuri Sarbudak is second on the Pioneers with 13 goals and 28 points
* Goalkeepers Brayden Fox (10 games) and Thaddeus Grierson (nine games) have accumulated 41 saves in split time this season
* Prior to their first round game against Hilbert, the Pioneers wrapped up the regular season on a four-game winning streak
