* On Behrend's first shot of the game in the 10th minute, Nate Coleman (Vandergrift, PA/Kiski Area) booted a long ball to the right foot of Owen Petersen (Erie, PA/McDowell) who deposited it into the right corner of the net
* Joel Martinez had a chance to tie it for the Mounties when he got free in the 18th minute, but his shot was turned away by Lions' goalkeeper Anthony Scalise (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin)
* Junior Dylan Akut (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) tried to put Behrend ahead by two in the final minute of the first half; however, his shot was off target
* It was a defensive battle in the first 45 minutes on Saturday as there were only five combined shots and two corner kicks taken

* Behrend attempted to take the lead once again with heavy pressure in the final three minutes, tallying scoring opportunities off a free kick, corner kick, and shot by Lucas Pittman (Plum, PA/Plum) that was stopped
* Saturday's contest would finish in a 2-2 draw, the second overall tie and first tie in conference play for both teams
* Bez recorded a game-high four shots for Mount Aloysius, while the Lions were led by Petersen's two shots
