ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team picked up its fourth shutout win a row with a 4-0 victory over Carlow Saturday afternoon.

* The Lions had two scoring opportunities early in the first half off shots by Andy Jones (Girard, PA/Girard) and Owen Petersen (Erie, PA/McDowell) in the 12th and 14th minutes that Carlow's goalkeeper Alex Remington made diving saves on
* Behrend got on the board first in the 18th minute with a goal from John Ziobro (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) in the 18th minute
* Nate Coleman (Vandergrift, PA/Kiski Area) sent a crossing ball to the foot of Ziobro for his third score of the season

* On senior day, senior Jaren Beigh (Enola, PA/East Pennsboro) got in on the scoring action with his first goal of the season and second of his career off a pass from Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny) to secure Behrend's eighth win and fifth conference victory of the season
* The Lions defense held Carlow to zero shots and only one corner kick for their seventh shutout of the year and fifth shutout of the season for goalkeeper Anthony Scalise (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin)
* Cooper tallied a game-high seven shots, followed Ziobro's five shots
* Behrend outshot the Celtics 30-0 and finished with a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks
