Swann’s Game-Winner Sends Behrend To AMCC Championship Game
Senior Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny) registered the game-winning goal for No. 2 Penn State Behrend in a 2-1 overtime victory over No. 3 Mount Aloysius in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men’s Soccer Semifinal Wednesday afternoon at the soccer complex.
ERIE, Pa. – Senior Johnathan Swann (Allison Park, PA/North Allegheny) registered the game-winning goal for No. 2 Penn State Behrend in a 2-1 overtime victory over No. 3 Mount Aloysius in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Soccer Semifinal Wednesday afternoon at the soccer complex.

* After 45 minutes of play, the teams went into halftime scoreless with five shots and two on goal for each side
* The Lions had four good scoring chances in the first half with two diving saves made by Mount Aloysius goalkeeper Sam Denchfield on shots by Blake Cooper (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) and John Ziobro (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley)

* Behrend goalkeeper Anthony Scalise (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) tallied his first collegiate playoff win in net, finishing with three saves
* The Lions narrowly outshot Mount Aloysius 10-9 and held a 9-5 advantage in corner kicks on Wednesday
