Kachurick Places 22nd At Nationals

Freshman Lucas Kachurick placed 22nd in the 1-meter diving competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Thursday.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Freshman Lucas Kachurick placed 22nd in the 1-meter diving competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Thursday.

Kachurick recorded a score of 330.25 for 11 dives on the 1-meter board in the preliminaries. He will compete on Saturday in the 3-meter competition. Kachurick enters the event seeded in 10th out of 22 divers.

The preliminaries for the 3m will begin at 1 p.m. with the top eight divers advancing to the finals at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
