INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Penn State Behrend junior Dan Simon (Harrison City, PA / Penn Trafford) competed in one out of his three events at the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon hosted by Franklin College in Indianapolis, Indiana at IUPUI Natatorium.

Simon, who entered the championships seeded 49^th in the 50 freestyle (21.25), finished 47^th overall with a time of 21.39. He will have a chance to repeat as an All-American on Friday in the 100 backstroke and will compete in the 100 freestyle on Saturday. Preliminaries are in the first session at 10 a.m. with finals beginning at 6 p.m.
