NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team rallied back to defeat Westminster 150-144 in non-conference action on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* The Lions need a 1-2 finish in the 200 IM and win the final relay to defeat the Titans
* Behrend overcame 32 diving points by Westminster for its third win of the season
* Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.73 and Jacob Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) helped the Lions with a second-place finish (2:05.72)
* The foursome of George Zalar (Shamokin, PA/Shamokin), Dan Tanaskovic (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Valley), Jake Schmidt (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) and Justin Heller (Franklin, PA/Rocky Grove) did indeed claim the final 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:29.21 to defeat Westminster for a second-straight time
* Schmidt added three individual wins to the relay victory to lead the Lions
* Schmidt was first in the 1000 free (10:32.10), the 500 free (5:09.77) and the 100 free (48.91)
* In addition to the 200 IM victory, Compton touched first in the 200 free (1:49.26) and ran a leg on the winning 200 medley relay
* Eshelman, Matt Karenbauer (Butler, PA/Knoch) and Tanaskovic were the other three on the opening relay
* Eshelman and Karenbauer were winners in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.75) and the 100 butterfly (55.07), respectively
* The final individual victory belonged to Jake Niziol (Eighty Four, PA/Ringgold) in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.13)
