OBERLIN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team took third out of 12 teams with a final score of 747 points at the three-day Oberlin Invitational held over the weekend.

Key Moments:


* Fresh off the win in the 100 backstroke from Friday, Anthony Tumino (Hershey, PA/Hershey) places second in the 200 backstroke in 1:56.88 to earn the team 28 points
* Jacob Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) took home bronze in the 200 breaststroke, clocking in the a team-best time of 2:08.76 while Mike Pazuchanics (McMurray, PA/Peters Township) finished 10th in the same event (2:22.04)
* Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) came in fourth overall in the 200 butterfly (1:56.64) after placing second in the 200 IM on Friday night  
* Shane Rupert (Richland Township, PA/Pine-Richland) led the Lions in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:50.57, good enough for eighth place
* In diving, Jacob Earley (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) earned 24 team points for his sixth-place finish in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 278.25
