Penn State Behrend Men's Tennis Keeps Rolling with 8-1 Victory Over Westminster

The Penn State Behrend Lions men's tennis team continued their winning success with an 8-1 victory over the Westminster Titans on Saturday, February 27.  The blue and white have one their last three matches in a row.

Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine Richland) was dominant once again as he competed in number one singles and was victorious by scores of 6-2, and 6-1.  Senior Shane Mosier (Kersey/St.Marys) showed his veteran experience as he took number two singles by scores of 6-0, and 6-1.  Peter Bissert (Pittsburgh/Seton LaSalle), Jacob Fling (Erie/Villa Maria), Brad Nagel (West Alexander/McGuffey), and Jason Grosch (Warren/Warren) all won in singles play to contribute to the Behrend Lions success.

Bissert teamed with Mosier while Kelly Manning (Sharpsville/Kennedy Catholic) and Travis Parke (Erie/Seneca) also teamed up to win in doubles play by scores of 8-4 and 8-2, respectively.

Next up for the Behrend Lions will be their annual spring break trip down the Hilton Head, South Carolina.  The blue and white will compete in four matches in five days.
