Shane Mosier Named Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week

Shane Mosier (Kersey/St.Marys) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the Week for the week of March 1, 2010.

Mosier led the Behrend Lions men's tennis squad to an undefeated week as they defeated both the Franciscan University Barons and the Westminster Titans.  Mosier competed in number two singles play in both contests and came out on the winning side of both.  He won in straight sets by scores of 7-6 and 7-5 against his Franciscan opponent and followed that with another straight sets win by scores of 6-0, 6-1 versus Westminster.  Mosier would also go on to win both his matches in doubles play to help secure both team victories.

Next up for the Behrend Lions men's tennis team will be their annual spring trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.  The blue and white will be competing in five matches in four days.  The Behrend Lions are 3-2 on the young season with a conference record of 1-0.
