Elliot Blackstone Named AMCC Tennis Player of the Week

Penn State Behrend junior Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine Richland) was recently named the AMCC Tennis Player of the Week for his excellent performances on the team's spring trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Blackstone was 3-1 in singles play and 2-2 in doubles play on the spring trip to Hilton Head.  He had a tremendous win over the number one player from Division II Catawba for the blue and white's only point in the match.

The Behrend Lions went 2-2 on their spring trip and their record now stands at 5-4.  The blue and white will host AMCC foe Pitt-Bradford at home on Friday, March 19.  Behrend will host three more conference matchups with Penn State Altoona, D'Youville and Pitt-Greensburg all coming to town.
